Spray the interior of the pump volute with an oil mist. Remove the
back cover to ensure complete coverage. After fogging, reinstall back
cover assembly.
Completely fill the pump’s seal and bearing cavities to guard and
lubricate against moisture intrusion.
Close all piping.
Weekly Inspection
Rotate the pump shaft no less than 6 revolutions to ensure lubrication
coverage over the bearings. If the pump fails to rotate, loosen the
back cover and repeat.
Start Up
Drain the bearing and seal cavities and refill to the proper levels with
SAE 30, non-detergent motor oil.
Inspect the drive for alignment for coupling or v-belt applications and
tension for v-belt applications.
